Refund Policy

Last updated: July 2026 · Applies to indexmyurl.com

Reached by Gemini. Indexed by Google or Bing. Or your credit comes back in 15 days — automatically.

1. How the automatic refund works

IndexMyURL runs a 15-day discovery cycle for every URL you submit:

Crawl signals and discovery paths are sent from day 1 through day 14.

We verify indexing status on day 8 and day 15.

If the URL is not indexed in Google or Bing by the end of the cycle, the credit used for that URL is automatically returned to your balance.

No form, no support ticket, no waiting. The refund is applied automatically when the cycle closes.

2. What is refunded

Credits are refunded — not money. IndexMyURL operates on a credit system. When a URL does not meet the success criteria within the cycle, the credit spent on that URL is returned to your credit balance.

Refunded credits are available immediately and can be used for new submissions without restriction.

3. What counts as a successful result

A URL is considered successful — and its credit is not refunded — when any of the following is confirmed:

Indexed in Google: the URL appears in Google search results for a site: query.

Indexed in Bing: the URL appears in Bing search results for a site: query. Bing counts on its own — Google indexing is not required.

Reached by Gemini (Pro accounts): Google's AI infrastructure successfully fetches your URL on day 1 or day 8. See section 6.

Only one of the above needs to be confirmed. Indexing is verified on day 8 and day 15 of the cycle.

4. Extended cycle when verification is unavailable

Verification depends on external search APIs. If those APIs are unavailable, rate-limited or fail to respond, we cannot tell whether your URL is indexed or not.

In that case, the cycle is extended and verification is retried until day 20 rather than closed as a failure. A technical fault on our side never results in a URL being marked as failed.

If verification is still not possible by day 20, the credit is refunded.

5. When the refund does not apply

Credits are not refunded in the following cases:

URL returns an error: the URL responds with a 4xx or 5xx HTTP status code at processing time. These URLs are identified in the pre-check and the credit is returned immediately — they are not charged for the cycle.

Noindex directive: the URL has a noindex meta tag or X-Robots-Tag header. Also identified in pre-check — credit returned immediately.

Duplicate URL: the same URL is submitted more than once within the same campaign. Duplicates are detected and not charged.

Content removed mid-cycle: if the URL becomes unreachable during the cycle, the credit is returned at that point.

In all cases above, credits are either returned immediately or handled transparently in the dashboard.

6. AI Search Visibility — Pro accounts

A live HTTP request from Gemini reaches your URL.

Not a crawler simulation. Not a third-party checker. Google's AI infrastructure fetches your backlink in real time — on day 1 and again on day 8.

Know if your links are alive — before it's too late.

Most indexing tools leave you guessing for 15 days, then hand you a refund and a shrug. Gemini pulls your page directly from our request on day one. If it can't be read, you know immediately — not two weeks later.

Because a link Google's AI can't read is a link Googlebot won't index either.

Dead redirects. JS-only pages. Silent 403s. Paywalls that didn't exist yesterday. Every one of them kills your backlink, and most SEOs never find out.

Reached by Gemini = credit kept.

If Google's AI reaches your URL, that's a real result — not a failure. Your credit stays where it belongs.

AI Search Visibility is included on accounts that have purchased credits. Free accounts are evaluated on Google and Bing indexing only.

7. Discovery channels included in every credit

Each credit covers all discovery channels, on both free and Pro accounts:

Crawl signals: WebSub and XML-RPC pings sent across the 14-day signal window.

IndexNow: submitted for domains we operate, reaching Bing, Yandex, Naver, Seznam and Yep. Bing's index also powers ChatGPT and Copilot search.

Directory network: your URL is published with a dofollow link on our own indexed directory network. Those pages are submitted to the Google Indexing API and IndexNow every time they change, creating a live crawl path that leads search engines to your URL.

We create the crawl signals and discovery paths that help search engines find your URLs. We never guarantee indexing — no one can.

8. Monetary refunds

We do not offer monetary refunds on credit purchases. Credits never expire, so unused credits remain available indefinitely.

If you believe you were charged in error due to a technical fault on our side, contact hello@indexmyurl.com and we will review your case within 5 business days.

9. How to check your refunds

You can see all automatic refunds in your dashboard under Billing → Credit history. Each refund shows the URL, the campaign, the date the cycle ended and the credit amount returned.

Refunds appear in your balance immediately when applied.
